We have ensured that the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at H. M. Surgical Hospital is recognized as a Centre of Excellence that has been providing safe, timely, high-quality care and comfort to all patients, with any form of critical illness.
Special arrangement is made for the waiting patient’s family member besides the ICU. The units have beds with dialysis facilities, specially designed positive and negative isolation facilities. Our department has cubicles for each bed and transparent doors to reduce disturbance to patients. Each cubicle has windows that provide daylight which is most important to maintain a normal sleep pattern.
